Here at A Plus Skip Hire, we are fully compliant with EU directives on waste management and run our operation in accordance with Waste Framework Directive 2008/98/EC.

Our current waste management systems adhere to the principles set out in “A Resource Opportunity – Waste Management Policy in Ireland (2012).”

This document lays out policies on eliminating landfill, reducing the amount of waste produced and maximising waste as a source of products and renewable energy.

A Plus is constantly looking for ways to improve our recycling levels to ensure that we stay at the top of the leader board, when it comes to achieving our recycling targets.


Permits and Licensing

A Plus Skip Hire is in full compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Local Authority’s waste management permits and licensing requirements.



Certificates of Disposal

As a regulated waste management operator, we have the authority to issue a Certificate of Disposal; a document stating that waste has been brought to our facility, segregated into different streams and delivered for further recycling.

Health and Safety

We operate in full compliance with EU health and safety regulations.  All of our drivers are fully qualified and experienced in the operation of waste disposal vehicles.

Each of our drivers has also undertaken a Safety Awareness Training Programme and carries a Safe Pass card.

We employ a full-time transport manager and a team of experienced mechanics to provide ongoing maintenance to all of our trucks and equipment.

Our vehicles are fitted with the best safety features,including air bags, anti-lock brakes, load safety devices, blind spot elimination equipment, etc.
